For over eight centuries, some of the world’s most pre-eminent leaders have come to Oxford, the oldest University in the English-speaking world, to study. Alumni include 27 former British Prime Ministers and many heads of state and government around the world.
Participants will spend the second week of the programme attending lectures and staying in the beautiful surroundings of Harris Manchester College – the university’s smallest college based in the heart of the city only a few minutes walk from world famous sites, such as the Bodleian Library.
Founded in 1757 but not moving to Oxford until 1893 and becoming part of the University in 1996, Harris Manchester includes delightful gardens and the highest quality seminar rooms, dining facilities and accommodation – all located on one site. Participants will also enjoy their meals in the magnificent Dining Hall – a fine example of a late-Victorian baronial-style Hall.
